Book Cellar

Book Cellar lives inside the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library building and shares its space with the library's Storyville early learning center. This cozy reading area turns the library's catalog search into a personal adventure where visitors can unlock hidden collections and discover new worlds between the shelves. The store exists as a quiet extension of the library's mission to spark lifelong curiosity and connection through literature and community programming. Families and readers wander through the shared lobby looking for turning points in their favorite stories or adventures waiting beyond the next page. Teen events like DIY fairs or language workshops bring creative energy to the space on Saturday afternoons while Storytime mornings welcome the youngest explorers into books. Bookmobile parties rolling out from the Main Branch add another layer of playful discovery to what a local customer can truly experience within Findlay's literary landscape. The community center pulses with upbeat activity from virtual author talks to seasonal celebrations that make reading feel alive and shared.
