Company : enGen Job Description : JOB SUMMARY The Imaging Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and related interfaces within the healthcare system. This role involves active participation in project management, vendor relations, and the continuous improvement of imaging workflows and technologies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical environment, ensuring seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Image Management & System Optimization Ensures an optimal environment for the viewing and interpretation of medical images. Monitors and manages interfaces to key systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and Voice Recognition systems. Verifies data integrity and optimizes image and workflow processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Participates in and provides recommendations for the development of policies related to image management, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and familiarity with medical imaging standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7). Assesses imaging modality capabilities across all Diagnostic Imaging on an ongoing basis to support technological advancements and clinical needs. 2.
