Azure Senior Data Engineer

Argano is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead modern data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric and the Azure data platform. This role involves translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable data systems in collaboration with Data Architects, Software Developers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders. The engineer will build and maintain data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and develop analytics-ready platforms ensuring high data quality, performance, and governance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing Lakehouse, Warehouse, and analytics solutions within Microsoft Fabric, developing data transformation workflows using Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL, and designing enterprise-scale data platforms and data modeling solutions. The position also requires experience with Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines for analytical and operational workloads. Documentation of data solutions and continuous learning of modern data engineering technologies including Azure DevOps and Git for development and deployment processes are essential. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical field, 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, and proven experience designing data warehouses and enterprise data platforms. Working within Agile/Scrum teams, the Senior Data Engineer will contribute to Argano's data engineering capabilities and best practices while ensuring consistent data delivery across client engagements.
