Data Solutions Architect
RS&H is seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and client-focused data and artificial intelligence solutions for aviation, federal, transportation, aerospace, health, science, and corporate markets. The role transforms complex, inconsistent data into trusted pipelines, analytical models, predictive solutions, and visualizations that support critical client decisions. You will identify market needs and help turn early-stage concepts into production-ready digital offerings, advancing solutions from concept through requirements, architecture, development, testing, validation, and deployment. Responsibilities include establishing data and AI best practices, strengthening governance and model lifecycle processes, and leading a community of practice to build data capabilities across the organization. This position has no direct reports but provides authoritative technical direction, mentoring project teams, architects, engineers, and junior staff. You will design reusable solutions using APIs, event streams, curated datasets, feature stores, and visualization layers, and create system diagrams, architecture decision records, data contracts, reference implementations, and build-versus-buy recommendations. Architect geospatial intelligence solutions integrating GIS data, drawings, 3D models, operational data, and sensor inputs. Develop and deploy analytical and predictive models using time-series forecasting, causal inference, ensemble methods, and other machine learning techniques. Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and related tools. Translate model outputs and statistical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires strong expertise in data architecture, AI/ML, and geospatial technology, with experience delivering enterprise‑grade solutions in complex, regulated environments. Remote work is permitted, but the candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and support client engagements across multiple locations.
