Data Solutions Architect

The Opportunity RS&H is seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and client-focused data and artificial intelligence solutions across several sectors. In this technically influential position, the candidate will transform inconsistent data into trusted pipelines, analytical models, predictive solutions, and visualizations that support critical client decisions. The role advances data and AI solutions from concept through requirements, architecture, development, testing, validation, and deployment. The Architect will establish technical standards, improve data governance, and lead a community of practice to build data capabilities across the organization. Responsibilities include designing data and AI solutions, supporting scoping, client pursuits, production delivery, governance, and data‑practice enablement. The candidate will translate building, infrastructure, and construction challenges into reusable data and AI products with defined interfaces and service levels. Required skills involve creating reusable solutions with APIs, event streams, curated datasets, feature stores, and visualization layers. The Architect will produce system diagrams, architecture decision records, data contracts, reference implementations, and build‑versus‑buy recommendations. Experience with geospatial intelligence is needed, including integration of GIS data, 2D drawings, 3D models, operational data, and sensor data. Analytical work will involve developing predictive models using time‑series forecasting, causal inference, ensemble methods, and other machine learning approaches. The role also calls for creating and operationalizing interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and related tools. Finally, the Architect must translate model outputs and statistical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
