Estimator/ Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Engineer to support a key client in the EV charging infrastructure industry. In this role, you will be directly assigned to the client’s team, issuing, reviewing, and responding to proposals. You’ll combine technical expertise with cost estimation skills to develop accurate, competitive, and timely proposals aligned with customer needs and capabilities. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates and technical proposals for EV charging station projects, reviewing RFQs and RFPs to determine scope and cost drivers, and developing response strategies. You’ll identify labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor needs, and permitting costs, and assist in creating bills of materials and preliminary system designs. Coordination with vendors and suppliers to obtain current pricing and lead times is essential, as is ensuring all proposals meet quality, accuracy, and compliance standards. Support post-submission clarifications and track win/loss data for continuous improvement. Stay current on EV charging technologies, codes, and industry trends to maintain best practices.
