Forward Deployed Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a Senior AWS Forward Deployed Engineer to join RevStar’s AWS Practice. In this role you will operate embedded at the intersection of enterprise cloud architecture, hands-on engineering, and client-facing delivery. You will own the full delivery lifecycle for high-impact enterprise accounts, architecting resilient cloud-native environments and modernizing legacy infrastructure. The position involves deploying state‑of‑the‑art AWS Generative AI architectures using services such as Amazon Bedrock, Q, and SageMaker. You will also drive AWS adoption and consumption growth by identifying new workloads, building proof‑of‑concepts, and aligning technical solutions with client executive leadership. Key duties include designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CDK, leading large‑scale migrations with AWS Migration Service and Database Migration Service, and re‑architecting monolithic applications into modern serverless or containerized patterns. You will partner with CIOs, CTOs, and VP‑level stakeholders to translate business goals into high‑performing AWS solutions. The role also requires architecting and deploying enterprise‑grade GenAI and ML workloads, leveraging Vector databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, or pgvector, and implementing custom retrieval‑augmented generation solutions. Collaboration with RevStar account leadership will enable you to influence platform growth strategies and expand client footprints. This position is fully remote and based in Latin America, engaging as an independent contractor (1099).
