Lawyer

This contract position seeks a qualified lawyer to help train AI systems by performing detailed legal document reviews. The role involves analyzing contracts and legal templates to identify risky or problematic clauses, drafting concise commentary on findings, and writing brief memos that summarize risk areas and recommended improvements. The lawyer will also conduct basic legal research using only public sources and translate complex legal concepts into clear language for non-lawyers. All work must strictly follow confidentiality and conflict-of-interest protocols, and will involve only public or synthetic data, ensuring no proprietary information is used. Preferred candidates hold a JD with bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction and have at least four years of practice experience, particularly in contract-heavy legal work such as drafting, review, or compliance. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal analysis. Experience with technology, AI, or legal operations is considered a plus but not mandatory. This engagement offers flexible, remote work on a contract basis with no salary or location restrictions beyond remote execution.
