Material Estimator

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Material Estimator. The role supports manufacturing operations and focuses on cost estimating for materials. You will identify lead times, vet suppliers according to FAR and DFARS standards, and conduct final management reviews. Prepare material estimates that are current, accurate, and complete, using strong attention to detail. Maintain and update cost databases for audit support. Evaluate supplier quotes and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative materials or vendors. Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Share knowledge as a subject matter expert on cost estimating processes. Demonstrate strong presentation, communication, and teamwork skills. The position applies advanced technologies in manufacturing and defense. This role is based in the United States. U.S. citizenship is required due to security clearance needs.
