MS SQL DBA Administrator

The role involves collaborating with a Banking client organized through Dautom on global quality and innovation initiatives. Responsibilities focus on designing and executing a clustered high‑availability scenario using MS SQL Server with Always‑On availability groups and Azure integration. The position requires implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Azure‑based database infrastructure. Key duties include developing and tuning SQL Server environments, ensuring reliable backup and restore procedures for pre‑production databases, and resolving performance issues promptly. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams ensures successful deployment and continuous operational stability. Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field, possess a minimum of four years of experience administering MS SQL databases both on‑premises and in Azure/Cloud environments, and demonstrate expertise in installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and clustering solutions. Familiarity with Windows and virtualization platforms as well as Active‑Active clustering is required.
