Network Architect
Rackspace seeks a Network Architect to design and lead the strategic development of its global data center and WAN infrastructure focused on healthcare customer environments. This senior role requires translating clinical, business, and regulatory healthcare needs into scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures that support high-performance computing and data-intensive workloads. The architect owns the connectivity fabric ensuring sufficient bandwidth and throughput for compute and storage platforms, collaborating closely with vendors, engineering, security, and customer teams. Key duties include designing underlay networks for low-latency, high-bandwidth environments, guiding network strategy aligned with data center and WAN roadmaps, and solving complex, high-impact problems affecting multiple teams and customers. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical expertise, customer-driven problem Solving, and the ability to work independently on critical infrastructure strategy. This remote position allows work from home with up to 25% travel and requires progression within a recognized expert career level.
