OFFSHORE OPERATIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR
This role supports offshore project operations by managing the transport, customs clearance, and delivery of materials across multiple international jurisdictions. The coordinator ensures that all shipments comply with Saudi and global customs regulations, including NMDC Energy protocols and local port authority requirements. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting customs documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS code classifications, SASO/SABER, and COOs. The position maintains rigorous document control in accordance with UAE and international customs standards. It requires ongoing monitoring of regulatory changes in each operating country and timely communication of impacts to project and logistics teams. The role serves as the primary liaison between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies. It also involves tracking temporary imports and re-exports, ensuring timely closure of temporary import files, and preparing re-export documentation for offshore equipment. Accurate logistics and customs records are maintained to support audits and project reviews. The coordinator prepares regular status reports and proactively identifies potential compliance risks. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams helps prevent customs penalties and documentation delays. This is a critical position for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient movement of offshore project assets globally.
