OpenShift Engineer

The role is for an OpenShift Engineer focused on administering and engineering Red Hat OpenShift 4.x environments in an enterprise setting. The position requires hands-on experience with containerized platforms, ArgoCD for GitOps, and Portworx storage solutions. Key responsibilities include onboarding applications, performing platform upgrades and patches, managing operators, and supporting storage and deployment automation. The engineer will participate in operational meetings, provide support during maintenance windows, and assist with large-scale application migrations. Candidates must have recent experience with OpenShift 4.x, ArgoCD, and Portworx, along with proven expertise in Kubernetes platform operations and troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience in enterprise OpenShift environments, including upgrades, migrations, and application onboarding, is essential. Backgrounds in Platform Engineering, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Kubernetes Administration are ideal. While not mandatory, Red Hat certifications such as RHCE or RHCA are strongly preferred. The role involves supporting after-hours maintenance for planned upgrades and patching events.
