Outfitting Design Engineer (Offshore)

This engineering position focuses on outfitting design and engineering for offshore and shipbuilding projects. The role involves creating detailed design layouts for decks, compartments, access systems, and other outfitting elements. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical documentation and drawings to meet project specifications and classification society standards. The engineer will ensure all work complies with codes such as those from ABS, DNV, LR, and BV, as well as IMO and SOLAS conventions. Collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines is essential, including coordination within 3D modeling environments to resolve interface conflicts. Support is required during FEED and detailed design phases to maintain design integrity, constructability, and operational readiness.
