Scrum Master (Information Technology/Software/Remote)

A Scrum Master position is available for an expert to work remotely within the EU, supporting a leading IT and ICT company that serves government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, research and academic bodies. The role involves embedding within the contracted client’s IT team to collaborate on-site with a major client. The candidate must hold at least a university degree and have a minimum of eight years of professional IT experience, including three or more years in a Scrum Master capacity at SM2 level or above. Responsibilities include leading at least two production teams through full sprint cycles, implementing data-driven continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating cross-team efforts using Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning, and applying facilitation techniques such as Fist of Five and Liberating Structures. The candidate should possess deep knowledge of the Scrum Guide, Agile Manifesto principles, systems thinking, and team empowerment models. Proficiency with Agile metrics like velocity, cycle time, and burn-up or burn-down charts is required, as well as the ability to build and interpret dashboards for forecasting and performance analysis. Proficiency in Azure DevOps or Jira is preferred, particularly for backlog management and workflow configuration. Required certifications include PSM II or higher and SAFe 5/6 Agilist, with experience in scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Nexus or LeSS considered an asset. Strong command of the English language is essential. Responsibilities also involve organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, planning and release activities, and applying tailored process frameworks to complex environments.
