Senior Backend Developer

The role seeks a Senior Back-End Java Developer with deep expertise in constructing reliable financial infrastructure. The candidate will design and implement core services for a cross-border payments and financial network handling exchange, clearing, and messaging. Essential duties include developing microservices using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs while ensuring system resilience and observability. Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores such as Kafka for streaming is required for building scalable solutions. Key responsibilities involve writing clean, tested code with unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Docker and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes security, performance optimization, and scalability within a financial context where correctness is critical. Collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and front-end teams is expected to deliver end-to-end service ownership. Experience with financial protocols like ISO 20022 or SWIFT, and event-driven architectures, is considered a strong asset.
