Site Reliability Engineer II

Join our Platform and Reliability Engineering team as a Site Reliability Engineer II, where you'll collaborate across product and engineering groups to define and optimize the performance metrics that drive our content delivery systems. This role sits at the heart of ensuring exceptional availability, scalability, and resilience for our large-scale internet platforms. You'll shape the future of our products by embedding reliability into every stage of development, from initial design through ongoing operations. Key responsibilities include designing and managing critical Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs), implementing robust monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and troubleshooting complex performance anomalies. You'll also develop automation to streamline operations while reducing repetitive work, and participate in architecture reviews to ensure systems meet stringent performance and reliability standards. The position requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. You'll leverage SQL for data analysis to investigate root causes, and demonstrate strong scripting skills in Python or Bash to build effective operational tools. Success depends on your ability to collaborate cross-functionally, communicate technical findings clearly, and continuously integrate the latest DevOps and SRE best practices to enhance platform excellence.
