Software Engineer, Backend (Go)

Engineer backend services in Go for the k0rdent AI platform, a multi-tenant control plane for enterprise GPU infrastructure supporting AI workloads at scale. Design and own API-first microservices end to end, including schema development, test coverage, and production instrumentation. Build REST APIs using OpenAPI and multi-language SDKs, implement durable orchestration with Temporal accounting for idempotency, retries, and timeouts. Develop event-driven architectures using streaming platforms, enforce security via OIDC/JWT and tenant-scoped RBAC across IAM and Kubernetes layers. Ensure reliability and correctness through comprehensive testing, structured logging, metrics, and audit trails. Collaborate within an agile framework across global engineering teams to maintain robust, scalable infrastructure. Must hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent, demonstrate strong CS fundamentals, and have 4-5 years of professional software engineering experience with 2-3+ years in Go. Prioritize concurrency, context handling, and stdlib routing expertise over specific framework knowledge.
