SSAP BTP CAP Java Developer (Remote, RO)

The role is for an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) CAP Java Developer to design and develop cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP BTP using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Java. The developer will build APIs and services to integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems such as SAP Fiori, IFS, ServiceNow and a Service Technician application. Key responsibilities include developing backend services, implementing business logic, working with CDS models, OData and REST APIs, and ensuring applications follow clean-core principles. The position involves collaborating with functional consultants, integration developers and solution architects through requirements analysis, solution design and Explore workshops. The role also covers performing unit and integration testing, supporting deployment, migration and go-live activities, troubleshooting integration issues, and creating technical documentation to establish reusable standards for international rollouts.
